The light shifting. A glance between you and someone you love. The moment right before the moment. I watch for them, guide you toward what helps, then step back. What gets photographed is what actually happened, not what got arranged to look a certain way.

That kind of attention isn't new for me. I studied biology before I ever picked up a camera, and after my son was born, I turned that same attention toward the moments I didn't want to lose. The small, ordinary ones, which are usually the ones that matter most. If you think in patterns and details too, that might be part of why this already feels like a fit. That's still what I'm chasing on your wedding day.

Wherever your wedding lands. Whether it be the Napa gold, San Francisco fog, Marin's quiet, you're working with someone who knows this land's light from a lifetime here, not a scouting trip. I'm a fourth-generation Californian.

You won't have to manage me on the day. I send a questionnaire a month out and get on a call before your wedding, so nothing catches either of us off guard. That way, you're free to actually be present, instead of running logistics.

I show up for your day, and hand you back images that look and feel exactly how it was.
