There are weddings that feel like a celebration, and then there are weddings that feel like an event — the kind where every detail has been thought through, every moment carries weight, and the people in the room are exactly the ones who were meant to be there.
Cameron and Victoria’s wedding at the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, California was the latter.
On June 6th, 75 of their closest family and friends gathered in the heart of wine country for a black tie celebration that was as elegant as it was deeply personal. Cameron and Victoria are the kind of couple who love big — who wanted everyone they love in one room, dressed up, celebrating together. And that’s exactly what the day was.

The Meritage Resort and Spa sits in the middle of Napa Valley, surrounded by vineyards and the kind of golden California light that makes every photograph feel effortless. It’s a venue that attracts couples who want luxury without pretension — a place that feels special the moment you arrive.
For Cameron and Victoria, it was the perfect backdrop for a wedding that balanced high-end elegance with genuine warmth.

If there’s one thing I’ll remember about this wedding, it’s the reception.
The Meritage is known for its stunning cave spaces — and Cameron and Victoria leaned all the way in. The reception was held in a candlelit cave, moody and intimate, with long tables dressed in lush floral arrangements that felt like something out of a dream. Hundreds of blooms, soft flickering light, the kind of atmosphere you feel the moment you walk in.
It was one of those rooms where you stop at the entrance for a second, just to take it in.
The florals were extraordinary — layered, abundant, romantic in the truest sense. Combined with the natural texture of the cave walls and the warmth of candlelight, it created an atmosphere that was both grand and deeply intimate. Exactly what a black tie wedding should feel like.

What made this wedding stand out wasn’t just the venue or the details — it was the people. Cameron and Victoria are deeply family-oriented, and it showed in every moment of the day. The way their guests showed up for them, the toasts, the dancing, the quiet moments between the couple in the middle of it all — this was a wedding full of people who genuinely love each other.
As a Napa wedding photographer, those are the days I live for.

If you’re planning a wedding in Napa Valley and haven’t considered the Meritage Resort and Spa, put it on your list. The cave reception spaces are unlike anything else in wine country — moody, dramatic, and absolutely stunning in photographs. It pairs beautifully with candlelight and florals, and the surrounding vineyard grounds give you endless options for portraits.
I’d love to be your photographer there.
