Adored Curations Launch Party | Charmaine’s Rooftop, San Francisco
As a San Francisco event photographer, I get to document a lot of beautiful things. But there’s something extra special about photographing a moment that marks the beginning of someone’s dream.
Liv of Adored Curations just made the leap — full-time wedding planner. And she celebrated the way a wedding planner should: with incredible florals, a rooftop view of the San Francisco skyline, cocktails, and a live illustrator capturing guests throughout the evening.
The venue was Charmaine’s Rooftop Bar at The Proper Hotel in San Francisco. If you haven’t been, it’s one of those spaces that does everything right. Dark interiors that open up to an open-air rooftop with sweeping city views. It’s moody and warm inside, golden and expansive outside. As a photographer, I was in heaven.
The Details
Liv has an eye. Everything about this event was intentional. From the orchid-heavy florals in blush and white, to the checkered accents, to the table scape details that felt more like a styled shoot than a launch party. The stationery, the place settings, the candles, it was all considered.
There was also a live illustrator on site: @theguestillustrator, who created custom portraits of guests throughout the evening. It’s one of those additions that makes an event feel genuinely memorable — something guests talk about long after the night ends.
The Rooftop
Charmaine’s gives you the San Francisco skyline on a platter. We had clear skies and the kind of afternoon light that makes everything look like it belongs on a magazine cover. Liv in her chartreuse dress against that backdrop — effortless.

Watching someone go all-in on what they love is one of my favorite things to witness. Adored Curations is going to do incredible things, and I’m so glad I got to be there for the beginning.
