Their tagline was nothing fancy, just love. Two days, two completely different vibes, one couple who knew exactly what they wanted and didn’t need anyone’s permission to do it that way.

Day One — Marin Civic Center

August 28th. An intimate ceremony at the Marin Civic Center with close family — the people who mattered most, in a room that didn’t need to be decorated to feel significant. As a Marin elopement photographer, I’ve worked in a lot of spaces, but there’s something about a small ceremony where every single person in the room is crying that reminds you why this job exists.

Gavin and Brooke met at work. The kind of love story that starts quietly — proximity, then recognition, then the kind of certainty you don’t have to explain to anyone. That’s exactly what the day felt like.

Day Two — Bungalow 44 & The Corner Bar, Mill Valley

August 29th. The celebration.

An elopement doesn’t mean skipping the things that matter, it means keeping only the things that do. Brooke still had her mom help her into her dress. They kept everything meaningful and let go of everything else.

Brooke told guests: cocktail attire, but make it fun. Every single person showed up. The energy walking into Bungalow 44 was exactly what you want a wedding dinner to feel like- everyone dressed, everyone happy, everyone there because they genuinely wanted to be.

Dinner at Bungalow 44 gave way to a nightcap at The Corner Bar. Low-key, high-feeling. The kind of ending that doesn’t need a grand exit or a sparkler send-off — just good people, good drinks, and a couple exactly where they’re supposed to be.

Nothing Fancy. Just Love.
